To create lineups on Statshark DFSX there are four primary steps to be executed. You have varying degrees of control over these four processes depending upon what user mode you have chosen to work within. For example, you can create all your lineups with one click on the Full Auto Mode.

The four individual processes used to build lineups are as follows:
1) Filter and Sort Players
2) Cull the remaining universe based upon salary and performance metrics
3) Optimize lineups based upon lineup level salary and performance requirements
4) Filter and Sort Lineups

Shown as a work flow you have this:

Full Auto mode (1 click to create lineups)

The Optimize button carries all four processes for you. After that, make sure the created lineups match your expectations. If you want more flexibility check out the other 2 modes.

Semi Auto mode

You are able to adjust all of the above-mentioned settings and filters. Additionally, you can save your preferred settings as “default” settings for Full Auto mode.

Expert mode

In addition to the semi auto options, the expert mode offers perform: in-depth player research, manually choosing players and manually building lineups.

In short, these four processes can be customized depending on the mode you are using. Statshark  is optimized for Fanduel and Draftkings. And at the moment we support NFL, NBA and MLB.
